Having lived in the beautiful costal beach town of Del Mar (San Diego County), I was accustomed to a lovely environment. Then, like so many others, after vacationing in the charming mountain village of Idyllwild, I decided to make it my home. I chose Idyllwild for its vintage charm, the beautiful scenery and the four seasons, each magical in their own way.
It’s the perfect place to breathe fresh mountain air and to enjoy outdoor activities, quaint shops and charming restaurants. With it’s many art galleries and the Idyllwild Arts Center, it’s been named as one of the top 100 small art towns in America.
I am a proud mother of a very talented 11 year old. I also am an avid hiker and artist. One of my favorite things is to take our dinner, hike to a view spot and enjoy dinner overlooking our beautiful mountain. I love the snow and have even sledded my daughter to school for a great way to start her day.

Pete Capparelli has been licensed as a real estate agent since 1972. He got his broker's license in 1982 opening up his own office in Idyllwild at that time. In 1984 he merged with a former partner to create Capparelli & Oates Mile-High Realty. Born and raised in the farm country of PA, I found my way to Idyllwild while on a climbing spree in the summer of 1977 (via Squaw Valley and LA).
My first job in Idyllwild was waitressing at "The Cup" (now The Red Kettle) and "The Nome". Very soon, some local friends opened my eyes to the wonderful world of construction. I got my general contractor's license and found myself being drawn to remodeling "Old Charmers". However, time marched on, and I learned that I needed to work smarter, not harder, and I chose to go into home inspecting and became a CREIA certified home inspector.
Now I find my career in real estate to be most rewarding. With 26 years of building and inspection related experience, it is very exciting for me to help those who want to make a life change, either buying or selling in Idyllwild.
